The Equality Fund of Alabama is a political action committee (PAC) formed to help promote equal rights through political action. This PAC exists to help elect political friends of gays and lesbians to state public office. Alabama politicians seem to love to engage in political gay bashing, passing bill after bill to deny gays and lesbians the equal rights of citizenship. The Equality Fund of Alabama has been formed to target for defeat the worst of the lesbian and gay bashers in the legislature and in state government.
